I’ll never start a UIKit or AppKit project ever again. There I’ve said it. I have professionals/company app to maintain and evolve in UIKit, but I’ll never ever start a new app using anything else than SwiftUI. I’ll even start to have some SwiftUI component in company app in Sep.
Adding UIKit components to a SwiftUI app when needed? Sure, fill the gap. But it make no sense to not go SwiftUI for small to middle scale project right now.
It’s just 1337% faster to build a working product with it.
And also, it makes apps development much more approachable. My wife is learning Swift and about to start toying with SwiftUI. Imagine if I had to explain Storyboards, Outlet, NSLayoutConstraint (😂)
