Women were not created by God to be independent, Eve was created as a companion to Adam (wife,) and was given a monopoly on creating human life (babies.)

Just as man should model himself after Christ if he hopes to live a good life and attain heaven, a women must model herself after the greatest woman in existence, the Blessed Virgin Mary, in either her virginity (ie becoming a nun,) or her motherhood (and wife status.)
