Thinking of Nietzsche’s birds of prey vs lambs metaphor and how there’s no way to really know what he meant by it because it yields so many different analyses. It’s a shit comparison to human power structures, but that’s maybe intentional

It’s pointedly biblical, and that opens up like 16 different interpretations. It’s an argument for accepting the plight afforded to you by your position, and yet that nihilism can be empowering or devastating depending on how you look at it

Anyway the point of this thread is that I would probably have written a smarter canvas post if I had just done more of the fucking reading instead of fixating on that one metaphor out of context
