Last night someone came into my @Twitch stream and said "Wow what a quiet chat" while I had around 500 viewers.

People need to understand the value of time. Whether you lurk or not, I love and appreciate you tuning into my streams and spending ANY amount of time with me https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="♥️" title="Heart suit" aria-label="Emoji: Heart suit">
Don& #39;t ever be afraid to lurk in someone& #39;s stream. Don& #39;t ever be afraid to watch someone& #39;s stream without subbing/donating/cheering/etc.. You have your own life, responsibilities, things going on and you shouldn& #39;t feel bad about that.
As I said, I wasn& #39;t offended by the comment but I was upset that tons of lurkers came out to talk after that was said. They were made to feel as if they had to because of that person& #39;s comment. That& #39;s not ok.
I lurk in almost every stream I watch because I& #39;m often doing other things like cleaning, cooking, school work, playing the same game as the streamer, etc.. It doesn& #39;t mean I& #39;m not interested in the streamer or chat. I& #39;m just busy and enjoying my lurk. THAT. IS. OK.
