very factual statement:

We will never get old roaviation back by bringing free aircraft, here's why.

Some people think making aircraft free and having items open to the public (like alot of people would want to free items). The thing is, as much as it may sound great, it hurts the creativeness of many developers who've been cresting aircraft for fun and want to make something-

off of it. This also *ruins* the economy that roaviation has been building the last couple of years to this day by developers who contribute aswell do business with others in the community.

Is having free aircraft wrong?

Of course not. But making everything absolutely free and available to the public would make everything horrible, overused, and people would begin to lose interest in developing for roaviators, people will rely on the people who have been developing for free-

And when the people who do develop for free leave, they have to find new sources of things, bringing the creativity of the community down a whole new level. It would effectively ruin the landscape as we know it. We also have to understand the situation that-

the old roaviation was in. The old roaviation ("golden years") was run by free aircraft because everyone was starting to get used to and play with technology. We are way past the phase of that and doing anything to try and change it to be that was is (very) unlikely.

So, what's the point of this tweet?

I needed to get this out of my system. I cant stand people having to say that bringing free aircraft to roaviation will fix our problems.
