Here's a thread of online classes for storyboarding. I haven't taken all of them. SCAD's storyboarding classes are pretty good. (Goto is one of my fave professors) However, these classes are cheaper and you get longer critiques that are focused on you.
Plus, these classes are led by instructors that are currently in the industry. You not only get up to date information, you also can make connections.
The first online class I took was @RadSechrist and it was super helpful. Currently, it's not open for enrollment but definitely check in the future!

Another storyboarding class I took was by @QuickDrawKevin

This is a good class who have taken a few storyboarding class and know the basics. The class size is usually small and you focus on two projects. Definitely, can get portfolio level work out of it
Schoolism is great because you also can a cheaper fee of $30 per month. It doesn't come with individual feedback but you still get information for cheaper!
Honestly, you get a lot of information from following story artists on here in the industry. They are always tweeting really useful information!
@jimmortensen and @oni_hat sell really awesome storyboarding guides on their gumroads!
@e1n 's thread on storyboard pro/workflow is awesome! https://twitter.com/e1n/status/968945087865499648?lang=en
@amudork has some helpful streams on his vimeo where he goes over some basics of storyboard pro! https://vimeo.com/315127597
I help @scadSBC and we are trying to put more of our presentations and resources online
we are sharing our presentations on our Twitch and post our notes, presentations, and videos on our Google Drive

I don't know if I completely going to regret going to SCAD, just because of the friendships I made and art school is where you can make connections more easily. However, I am privileged not to be graduating with any debt.
Going to school for a year or two and dropping out is also perfectly valid. Taking a break is perfectly valid.
