I've been thinking about how the way we frame situations determines the tone of ARMY twit and how a negative, ARMY focused tone has come to be the norm as opposed to a positive, BTS focused tone. (cont)
Ex: A network booked BTS-

Negative tone, ARMY focused: This network booked BTS to use them for ARMY clout/views! They don't actually care!

Positive tone, BTS focused: This network booked BTS because they know how many viewers they bring in, which means BTS is an asset to them.
Do you see how these two tweets are saying the same thing, but one is focused on us and our power, while the other is focused on BTS and their power? One has negative energy that spurs on anger, and the other highlights BTS' success. It's really that easy.
I almost always see the first kind of tweet and very rarely see the second kind. We don't celebrate how bookable BTS is enough. We don't celebrate their power enough. We instead turn it negative, and focus on people 'using' us for even things like BTS being booked on a show.
We talk about how important trusting BTS is. Can we trust that when they book something, they are doing so with awareness of what the motives are? That they are choosing to partner with another entity, be it for an interview, appearance, etc. because they see benefit in it?
What if we instead focused on how something helps BTS rather than what the other party gets out of it? What if we directed our energy to bolster that situation so BTS gets the most out of it as possible instead of angry tweeting at the other party, giving them attention?
We complain about people using them for clout/views and then focus all of our attention on giving them clout and views by fueling our energy into them instead of into BTS; enjoying BTS, and positively promoting them. Just a thought I had. Tone matters. Consider yours.
