So Tara Reade's attorney confirms that she was in fact charged with check fraud on August 2, 1993 - just days before her employment at Biden's Senate office abruptly ended.

That's ... a huge admission. https://twitter.com/ryangrim/status/1259181237245292544
Of course, Wigdor LLP can't admit that their client was demoted/fired/forced to resign for cause - that would be conceding her wrongful termination claim if she were to make one.

But they can't deny the existence of a court filing in California that's a matter of public record.
I appreciate the fact that @ryangrim is being forthright here, and conceding a point that demolishes the narrative of his original reporting.

But with all due respect, this is something you should have looked into before publishing your bombshell piece on March 24, 2020.
The fundamental problem with @ryangrim's original March 24, 2020 story is that he took Tara Reade's account of why she was fired/resigned at face value.

Had Grim done his due diligence, vetted her claims, he would have known that TR had told him a cover story. It was a fable.
So, now it's fair to conclude that Tara Reade's story that she was fired in retaliation for filing a complaint for sexual harassment was in fact a cover story - as fictional as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
... and since Tara Reade's story about why her job at Biden's Senate office abruptly ended is pure fiction, it's hard to believe there is any truth to her underlying allegation.

@ReadeAlexandra told a garbage story to Ryan Grim, Katie Halper, Megyn Kelly. And they fell for it.
If @ryangrim has any integrity as a journalist, what he really ought to do is publish a follow-up story to document everything that he (intentionally?) missed.

It's his responsibility to dutifully cover the real reason why Tara Reade's employment at the Senate suddenly ended.
If @RyanGrim just leaves this 10,000 pound elephant in the room hanging here, without dutifully publishing a follow up, he's undermining his own credibility.

Is Grim an investigative journalist, committed to publishing the truth? Or is he a propagandist? Time to make a choice.
