If there is ANY advice I can give to an aspiring gym owner
Work hard, but be humane when it comes to your treatment of yourself
I don’t regret the success it brought me, but I regret the mental & physical toll of working near 7 day weeks for 2 yrs
Bust your ass, but moderation

I worked 70 straight days in the winter of 2018 & coincidentally, that was around the time my fitness levels plummeted
I had anxiety that if I told an athlete I couldn’t train them that the world would end
You’ll learn that as you prove yourself, they’ll work to your schedule

Additionally, I’d rather my athletes & clients get 5 days & 60 hours of A+ Gerry and not some watered down version who’s dragging through 6-7 day and 80-90 hour weeks
Trust me on that one.
