I’ve just called 911 for a friend who told me he was suicidal, that he has a plan, and that our FaceTime call was the last time I’d be seeing him.

I’m asking for prayers right now. All of them.
@HeatherTDay, @AliaJoyH, @aundikolber, you’re the first that come to mind with tender hearts and a following. Please.
Pray for me too.
I just found out 4 hours after the call—my phone didn’t ring or give notification—that I had a voicemail saying they tried but can’t do anything without his address, which I don’t have.

I’m also not in any current circle of friends—we’d recently reconnected.

Fuck, this sucks.
Going to sleep.. I haven’t heard anything.

Thank you for all your responses. I hope I can get to all the notifications when I come back.

I will update anything when I can.
And for those that feel the need to say hurtful things here, or something you feel is smugly clever about how awful I am to have tweeted this, you’re revealing so much more about yourselves than you know.
It’s not flattering to you. It’s ugly. It reveals no comprehension of empathy.

Continue at your own risk.
HE’S SAFE.

Safe for now, but he’s safe.

Thank you all for your prayers. I ask you all that you continue them, for us to find and discover and be shown our worth.

Love and appreciation for you all.
He called me tonight. He hurts. He said he loved me.

I told him that since I did this—cops coming to his house, his roommates finding out—I‘d been scared he wouldn’t want to talk to me anymore. He said... "Why?”

God is good.
I sent him this thread.

Everybody who’s ‘liked’ this, everyone who replied in a positive way, has had a small part in trying to show one man his worth. It adds up.

#KindTwitter is a reason I’m here. Keep praying, everyone. For us, and for each other. Thank you for your heart.
