In 2017 while I was at NYSC camp in Adamaea, I started getting messages from weird twitter accounts.
Calling me a boyfriend snatcher, threatened to beat me and pour me Acid.

I kept blocking these accounts but they were too much.
Over 15. It was scary that someone would dedicate her time to do this.
Later, I received fabricated messages trying to prove that my boyfriend was cheating.
It was also sent from @LusciousPeenut’s friend.

When I got back to Lagos, the guy sat me down, apologized for the drama and showed me all that had been going on.
He dated @lusciouspeenut in February for about three weeks but left due to her issues.
We were shocked she was attacking from both ends.

This girl went as deep as finding my mail address to send me a false story.

All these I listened to cos he gave me access to his phone when this issue started causing breach of trust between us.

In October, she went to report to the police. I was invited for questioning and the case was thrown out cos they realized she was lying to her ex back @lusciouspeenut

When she lost her case with the police, she went ahead to SARS, Agbongbo.
I was getting ready for work when these men came in, harassed me, took my phones and told me to come to the station later in the day stating that they’ve already arrested my boyfriend then.

At the station, @lusciouspeenut with another lady named Vivian were there frolicking with the SARS officers.
They wanted to arrest me but I insisted to know on what basis.
I read the file & saw that she wrote a statement claiming I pointed a gun at her.

I told my dad to continuously call me.

The officer turned off my phones, left with @lusciouspeenut & Vivian. He took the phones with him.
I sat down for hours waiting.
He came back by 9pm and told me it was too late to let me go therefore I must sleep in the cell.
He gave Patience my phones and she left with them.

By 6am, I was brought out and he kept threatening me to write a statement agreeing that I threatened @lusciouspeenut with a gun.

He told me that I’d never win this case cos they’ve been on it for the past two weeks even before finding my address.
He said @lusciouspeenut paid the men and that Vivian is sleeping with the ASP.

I have never felt so oppressed in my life.
I was only 23 & quite new in Lagos.
She did all she could to defame & hurt me.
Even at some point the policemen were begging her & she said, ‘this small girl took her man’

The ‘possession of gun’ case was thrown away after my father intervened.
What they held against me was that I kept insulted and fought the officers.
I got a lawyer for this stupid issue.

I sincerely refused to address this issue on Twitter.
I allowed everyone keep their version of the stories she told.

I feel pity for her cos after the issue, she didn’t stop texting the guy she arrested.

She achieved her plans. The relationship was over by January 2018, it wasn’t worth my life cos she knew my address & the gateman admitted two people had come several times to ask of me.
But yesterday the world saw @lusciouspeenut for who she was.
