OK, stick with me. There's a former Cambridge councillor called Ann Sinnott. She stormed off in a huff over trans women being allowed to use female public loos.

She is also *heavily* involved in the so-called "LGB Alliance", which seems to largely exist to attack trans people.
There's some good stuff in it, but I want to draw attention to this text, WRITTEN BY SINNOTT, this time posing as the "Authentic Equity Alliance", which has the same address as the LGB Alliance and is, basically, her. She seems to like the word, "alliance".
The text highlighted in yellow was written by Ann Sinnott herself. It reads:

"Possession of a GRC does not automatically override the 2010 Equality Act (EA2010) single-sex exemption"

The ENTIRE basis of the transphobic attack on so-called "Self ID" of the last few years...
...has been the claim that someone will be able to claim they are a a woman, get a GRC and walk into a domestic violence shelter.

Trans people have maintained, since the start, that a GRC makes no difference to your equality act rights.
And here is Sinnott, a ringleader of this years long attack on trans people, stating outright what trans people were saying all along.

A GRC (Gender Recognition Certificate) MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO WHERE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GO.
They knew.

They knew we were right all along.

They have been lying, and this proves it.

"SelfID" does NOT allow "predatory men" to walk into DV shelters or changing rooms, just like we said it didn't, and THE TRANSPHOBES AGREE WITH US.

Tell everyone.

Ends.
She's not a Tory. She was a Labour councillor. She's the one who took my seat in 2014. Part of me wonders if this whole "LGB Alliance" thing is a personal grudge against *me*.
