Outlines are 1D, linear lists with indent. What& #39;s a truly 2D outline?

Tables, specially when freeform & nested!

Like those @eirikbakke uses in @ultorg, or @jlongster& #39;s in @actualbudget. Or Graaskamp& #39;s 1981. Or my Engelbart-inspired syntax spacing.
