In the last few years, I've heard all the arguments for and against God.

I'm not saying it as pride but really the arguments are all about a finite list of things.

To be sincere, philosophically theists are crushing it. Atheists points are often weak and incoherent.

Just facts
But the thing is this...

I don't think the aim for apologists should be just to prove that faith in God is rational.

As Christians our ministry is more than that. It's more than winning debates to show out intellectual muscles and philosophical superiority.
Our ministry is to actually reconcile men.

One funny thing that happened to me more than once was that while debating atheists and crushing it, they would go back and go and watch more paulogia videos and return...

Every time getting harder and more immune to the arguments.
At the end of the day, the debates make these guys harder and harder.

I have never met an atheists that God saved by debate.

It's always the foolish things that touches their heart.

One got saved after she gave birth and it dawned on her that there's no way that life was...
...Meaningless.

Childbirth actually cured her of nihilsm that set her on a path towards God.

Today she's a Christian.

I would rather we went back to the days when atheists thought christians weren't smart and win men...

Than stay in apologetics that crushes debates but...
... Hardens men.

I've done my share of debating atheists. When they put up foolish memes, I just scroll past now because I know...

This one probably just wants to get laid without judgement. So he's telling himself things to make him feel better.

😂😂😂

Now I aim for the...
..heart.

I try to reason. Once they start ad hominems and insult, I dust by shoes on the discussion.

Now I drop one liners that summarize the folly of the logical conclusion and will get them thinking.

Now I want to win men.

I don't want to win debates anymore.

God help me.
