it's from the CDC pre-pandemic planning guidance for use of non-pharmaceutical intervention

they flat out KNEW that lockdowns have rapidly declining effect once infection rates hit 1%

they completely missed the window here

small wonder it didn't work

this is a fiasco. the price of this policy has been unlike anything ever spent in peacetime human history.

and those pushing for it knew (or should have known) it was too late to implement it.

we just paid $4 trillion to close the barn door after the horse was long gone.

the evidence this policy did not work keeps racking up. i'm not even sure it's a question anymore.

the real question is "why did "experts" who knew (or should have known) this would not work push for it so aggressively?"

this is a scandal.
