the attention you get on your art is a contrived concept. a piece i get 50 likes on twitter can get 3k reblogs on tumblr... something I made that has 10 likes on tumblr can have 1k-10k hits on instagram...these algorithms dont determine the worth of your work so just keep posting
and thats the best advice i can give...part of the allure is also how often someone just sees you . recognizability. people will remember your art for years even if you stop posting. but yknow if u give up on yourself and stop ppl will just assume youre done and disappear
that being said u dont have to post everyday thats just bad mental health soup but i am saying.. regardless of the likes or rts or reblogs... just keep drawing what you like and put it out there, at somepoint youre gonna stick
if this is gonna do numbers please do follow n support me if u can i am graduating college in the next week and my art and design life is p much gonna be all i do đŸ„ș♄

also im seeing a lot of negativy and i get it. ii just wanna say yknow i stopped drawing years ago and it was for more than just this reason but a big part was def bcs i felt like i wasnt getting seen. but like i love art i enjoy it so i kept at it and the audience came with me
if its that hard of a hit on ur self esteem and ur not enjoying urself then i wouldnt encourage u keep going just bcs i think at that point its just harming urself. but if u really lov art n its smth u enjoy doing i promise detaching urself from the numbers is hard but necessary
its never gonna be as simple as not expectong attention or even working hard to get the attention... just the mentality of remembering everything u make is worth being shared is important and its hard being an artist without beliving that in ur chest
