Spot The Racist: Dispelling Myths and Implicit Bias

One look at the killers of #AhmaudArbery justifies the implicit beliefs most (white) people hold around what racists look like.
It's not much of a stretch to see an older, southern white man doing his best Boss Hogg (google it young'uns) impression, as racist.

But the clearly educated, well coiffed woman?
Look at that inoffensive face. Surely someone who holds a Juris Doctor degree must have ascended above such base hatred.

As recently as two weeks ago, she posted on her official FB page displaying her team of Victims Advocates, expressing a desire to ensure "victims are heard."
Arbery was murdered on February 23.

A few days later, Jackie Johnson, the Brunswick District Attorney, recused herself from the case. She then blocked police from arresting the murderers, because they were friends.
Which is one of the reasons why we're just hearing of this murder now.

This is what institutional racism look like in action.
