One of the main reasons Labour is so far behind, is because under Corbyn, the party became obsessed with territorial disputes and geopolitical tensions in the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East - issues which do not rank highly in importance with the average British voter. https://twitter.com/AaronBastani/status/1259078070906036224
If individuals are ending their Labour Party membership on the grounds of its position on India-Pakistan tensions, then I question how politically integrated they are in the UK.

NHS funding, the care homes crisis, economic insecurities - don't they care about those Left issues?

Labour is a UK political party.

Its central priority should be standing up for the rights of British workers, so they are able to securely provide for their loved ones. Simple as.
Instead of obsessing over what is going on in the Indian subcontinent, Lab should think of ways of how to strengthen public safety/national security.

Average British voter will care about how crime and extremism is affecting their communities. They prioritise domestic stability.
