I started #DDMreadingweek ahead of time to make sure that I finish The Scapegoat until the 17th! Three chapters in and so far, so good!

The Scapegoat is the story of an Englishman who had his identity stolen by a Frenchman who looked exactly like him. As everyone believed he was Jean, he assumed his place. #DDMreadingweek
I’m enjoying to discover more about the family he became a part of. The writing style is absorbing, and the way in which the dialogue is written conveys well the situation the narrator was in.

Just finished The Scapegoat!

When I was about to lose interest, more or less two thirds of the way, something happened that completely enthralled me again.
It’s an interesting perspective on how a different way of behaving can change the lives of others! A more in-depth review will be up on my blog on Tuesday! Thank you @Heaven_ali for hosting #DDMreadingweek!
