Let me remind you that NOT ALL STUDENTS who study at Silliman are privileged. It being a private university does not equate to it comprising of students coming from affluent families. The community is diverse

"If dili man diay kaya sa pamilya, nganong ga-Silliman pa man?"

Why? Is it a crime to want high-quality education? Is it wrong to want to graduate from a prestigious university? Just because we belong in the lower class bracket doesn& #39;t mean we can& #39;t persevere to live above it

Yes, maybe it isn& #39;t so wise of a decision to send your children to a school whose tuition fees are greater than your monthly household income but can you really blame the parents who only want the best for their children?

These parents are working so hard, even stretching themselves thin, just so their children could attain a good education. You are ruining their efforts with your desensitized and apathetic comments. Don& #39;t you know that you are making them feel bad about themselves?
