The Bush Bar along Epe road, where I spent a few months, per trying to take possession of my Land, there.
The main business here was palmwine. The owner of this self-built 4bedroom, bungalow, is Ghanaian. The place is called “One day, one day”. So became Seth’s name.

I leased 1 room here, that period. My car and the abandoned truck (in photo) were down few months. No money to fix.
~5am everyday, Seth places order for 2+ 20ltr gallons of palmwine. Else he’d miss that days supply.

A Togolese guy, delivers 10+gallons, to this distribution point. By 8am supplies concluded.

Seth resells in 5ltr gallons and 1tr plastic bottles.

I get mine from supplier.
Where there’s palmwine, there’s bushmeat, so hunters.

Seth’s place also good point of sale for hunters.

All cash sales.

Poultry close by, and few such places along that stretch of expressway. Bushmeat and palmwine diaplay (in photo).

Many farms around too, so workers.
These people cannot read nor write. But financial literacy. Many have no phones, nor bank accounts.

They also understand palmwine value chain including ogogoro production.

Police/FRSC checkpoint close by, near another Bush Bar, Beninoise Owner, best ogogoro that stretch.
Where workers and travellers congregate, with palm wine and bushmeat, cigarettes sell too.

Few shops around, but, seemed reasonable to invest in cigarettes.

Att, N50 for 3 sticks, std Rothmans/BH. N300(?) pack of 20, so 2 sticks gain, unless buying in rolls.
For me, was good opportunity for trying out FMCG sales. Very helpful for saving money too, as I could always keep stock.

Not a cigarette smoker, so no problem of “smoking my market.”

Also helped me learn the importance of spending on non-perishable sellable item/products.
Helped me learn the value of a shop, or sales point, and “last mile” product/money exchange point.

Seth had lived there 3 years att. And was always adding more bamboo structures, being an expert carpenter.

He built 2 structures for the nearby poultry, while I was there.
Seth’s “big money earner” is his building contracts. So he wanted a manger for his Bush bar. We interviewed a few “locals”, who ghosted, without even starting.

My car came in handy for joyrides and nite outs, in Epe. FRSC has seized my driver’s license, per expired car papers
So I could only afford restricted movements.

Many times I had to walk, as much as 40 mins, as the Bush Bar was middle of the road.

All this time, I still had to make time to search for my Land, and the original Family Owners.

I sold solar lights too, and other hustles.
Man, gats stop here jor. Too many activities, and not sure which to include here now.

I also hate lengthy tweets.
