I don’t think there is a need for another defined CBD. What I call the old Onitsha is already a CBD. What we need in Onitsha and Nnewi is massive urban renewal and expansion into satellite towns and villages. Nnewi needs special attention. You know it evolved from a village setting and nothing have been done to change it. The Structural Master Plan for Anambra State done by UN Habitat, gives us something to thinker with. A number of roads need dualization in Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka.
