Stop confusing privilege for a healthy lifestyle. Being able to exercise in your private garden or home gym? Privilege. Having fresh, organic produce delivered to your door? Privilege. Having a private space and quiet to unwind and destress? Privilege.
I’m so tired of so-called ‘wellness gurus’ sharing their ‘top tips’ that comprise of nothing but boastful exclamations of how wealthy they are. This is not useful health advice. Maybe think about how your circumstances differ from those less fortunate.
Naming it as privilege = acknowledging social inequalities that prevent some from accessing normative health behaviours.

Calling it a healthy lifestyle = framing it as a choice that anyone can have if they just want it badly enough. Unfairly places blame on this with less.
