A citizen of J&K, India, has spent ~190/- in the last 9 months for 4G data that he couldn't even use for the first 5 months and after that, only at meagre 2G speed.

Not much right? Let's scale it up a little.(1/6)
4G Subscribers in Jammu and Kashmir have spent around ~126 Crore till 5th May 2020.

The administration suspended 4G services in Aug 2019 and restored 2G services since Jan 25, 2020.

The math? Down below.(2/6)
~65 lakh Mobile users in J&K.
An average consumer opts for the 150/- (~2GB 4G data for 28 days) pack. (Jio: 129, Airtel: 148, Vodafone: 149)

A 21/- 4G voucher gives us 2 GB 4G data.
(Assumption: In 150/- pack, the data costs 21/-)(3/6)
That sums up to ~14 Crore/Month and to ~126 Crore till 5th May, 2020.

Basically,
We spent ~70 Crore till 25th Jan, 2020 (for no internet)
and after that, ~56 Crore till 5th May, 2020 (for 2G).(4/6)
The administration States national interest for doing so. Cool. But are we supposed to spend our hard earned money just like that?

Why are we being charged for 4G when we can't even use it? And I'm surprised not many are taking about it.(5/6)
#4GRestoration petitioners have not stated this fact in the SC. I don't think 4G will be restored soon due to the activities going on in this state.

But what about our money?
