My only issue with #EcoLifestyle is that The Sims and EA are marketing some features as being new. In the Sims 2, I always use solar power and windmills to lower bill costs. I can’t judge a 90 second video BUTTTTTT these are a few of my expectations for an EXPANSION pack
I want recycling bins. I want a composting toilet. I want to be able to truly live off-grid if need be- like collecting rain water. I want to be able to live off of a pond, river, lake, etc. (like I should be able to fish, wash, bathe, etc)!
I want to have compost for my gardening. I want a club that acts as a HOA that fines me when I leave trash on my lawn. I want to have weeds come back. I want more gardening varieties.
A lot of these things are in there; however, I don’t see it talked about in more detail. I would love to see more things revolving around the eco life. A combination of Sims 2 gardening and Sims 3 Ambitions mixed with the innovative ideals of 2020 would be awesome!
Of course we want other things tweaked, as far as basic game play goes. Hopefully a patch will do that. Not a series of patches but like a big patch or two big patches because
Some things should be given without paying extra. I just think that’s where all of the backlash is coming from. It’s especially hard for Simmers like me. You love this game and give it your gaming all, but yet you can’t even afford a stuff pack.
However, once you get enough to pay for a pack it’s lacking serious potential and it leaves you feeling disappointed so we go and fill our games with mods because the community are the true gurus. Not downplaying the GURUS because you guys are kickass
However, is it really a Sims original when you take @SacrificialMods work and mold it into a for profit opportunity? These modders are working their asses off and giving us content that’s forever growing and exciting
So that’s why a lot of Sims are giving backlash. The disrespect is a no. You should never disrespect anyone. However, let’s be real. Unless you buy majority of the packs AND get mods, for the average person, the Sims has lost all interest
It’s sad and crazy when BitLife, an awesome mobile game with no role playing simulation is better than the Sims.
Also! How can we truly pollute and really be in depth with the environment when we have no cars. Like none. I don’t even have fake traffic in my game. I remember in Sims 3 when I could literally see Ethan Bunch driving his car. #EcoLifestyle seems like a great GAME pack
