there’s something about literally any anime opening that just produces high amounts of serotonin,,, I don’t make the rules
speaking of tHEY CHANGED THE HAIKYUU OPENING IN SEASON ONE AFTER EPISODE 14 AAAAAA; the pure symbolism and inspiration that these openings hold... genius
not to start sounding like a broken record here but OIKAWA IS A THIRD YEAR AND THAT BREAKS MY HEART if his team doesn’t make it to nationals then he’s done for high school volleyball and I hate that
I’m also waiting for Yamaguchi’s time because this poor boy has been benched since he’s not in any starting line ups and he’s the only first year that hasn’t been put in an official game
I have faith he will learn that float serve as pinch server and score a point and prove that he belongs on Karasuno’s team
ALSO TSUKISHIMA’S KIND OF A JERK IN SEASON ONE SO FAR BUT I STILL LIKE HIM SKSMDNDND I just know he’s going to have that character arc
why are 99% of the characters in this show likable I wanted a favorite and I don’t really have one yet
but by far the best thing I’ve seen is KAGEYAMA’S GROWTH

WHY IS HINATA SO WHOLESOME (is he my favorite character or is that too cheesy idk) but it was hard to watch the first few episodes because he has such a big dream and I don’t want to see him struggle because he deserves the world and just loves volleyball so much I-
they radiate similar energies in the best way

SUGAWARA BEST BOI every time I watch this game when Suga switches with Kageyama for setter I can always feel the shift
the psychological damage that oikawa plans out is so strategical and his team trusts in him because they know he’s positive what he’s doing is the right decision and he’s just such an ace skndnd

I’ve come to realize this thread is 99% me screaming about oikawa and 1% of actually talking about the show
