Libtertarian men are disgustingly permissive for 1 of 2 reasons:

A: they lack masculinity.

B: they have masculinity, but are Godless and wish to engage in degenerate behaviour, which foolishly translates to an autistic high IQ focus on individual rights rather than paternalism.
Basically the kind of men who don't mind if people use their daughter as a prostitute "because it's her choice", or want to use your daughters as their prostitutes without feeling bad, or being shamed for it.

Needless to say, these men don't hold society together. Patriarchs do.
Good people to have debates with on abstract intellectual topics (as social libertarianism tends to be a strictly high IQ phenomenon) but terrible fathers and husbands.
The civil war between men who build families, and men who destroy them is eternal.

A man worth his salt who heads a family and home cannot afford the permissiveness of libertarianism.

A firm hand is required, and thus the authoritarianism of paternalism manifests righteously.
Perhaps my initial point was not precise enough, so I feel it worth clarifying I am pro politically libertarian (re: freedom of speech, right to bear arms etc), but socially authoritarian (eg: anti-promisicuity, male heads of home - paternalistic approach to family matters)
This thread was not about political libertarianism, but social libertarianism. Going by some of the responses, this was not immediately apparent. Hopefully that is clear now.
