To coincide with this week’s episode of the podcast, here is a thread about all the Mission: Impossible video games over the years! Are you ready for this? 1/
In 2016 we got the LEGO Dimensions game, which re-created the story of the first movie and actually used clips of Tom Cruise’s voice from the film. 2/
In 2015 we got the Rogue Nation mobile game, which was mostly a sniper game. 3/
2011 brought us a Facebook game that was based on the first three movies but had an extension for Ghost Protocol when the movie came out. 4/
In 2006 we got this java mobile game for M:I-3, which actually looks pretty cool. 5/
2003 brings us Operation Surma, which was on XBox, PS2, GameCube, and GameBoy Advance. This one featured the team from M:I-2 and actually had Ving Rhames’ voice as Luther! 6/
In 2000 we get this fun looking game for Game Boy Color. 7/
In 1998 we get the game for PlayStation and Nintendo 64. This is generally regarded as the best of the bunch, which is unfortunately not saying much. 8/
1996 also saw the portable arcade game, which you can see @CharlesH00d trying to play here. 9/
In 1996 we got the “Web Adventure” from Apple Computer as a tie-in with the movie. Does anyone remember what this was? 10/
In 1990 there was a Nintendo game based on the ‘80 TV series. 11/
And here’s the new SEGA arcade game that came out recently. 12/
The Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation mobile game (2015) was still working on iPhones and iPads until very recently. 13/
You’re not Ethan Hunt in this game made for your phone. You’re Trent Kane and you’re actually trying to track down Ethan! 14/
Here’s the trailer for the 2011 Facebook game. Anyone play this one? 15/
We know some of you played this one back in the day. Remember the Rumble Pak? 16/
You got to hang from the ceiling inside Langley... 17/
Better escape before this weird guy with a southern accent catches you! 18/
