. @IBWellsSociety hosted a virtual training on how to cover education during Covid and my very first slide said the "Honeymoon is Over." It was understandable in March why children with internet access weren't getting virtual instruction. It was new, teachers had to figure it out.
But we are nearly two months in and school is in session even if they buildings are closed. There is no excuse why teachers cannot be offering some virtual instruction during the school day. The expectation should not be that they teach all day.That would be ridiculous/impossible
But I certainly think we should be expecting more than a bunch of online assignments being posted every day. Children cannot teach themselves math and science.
