Just got fired because my job announced they're going to be selling masks but we still cant have any and it's not their problem when it's a state mandate to wear them at jobs and stores. Because I was actually fired, not quit, I am automatically eligible for unemployment.
There was even a bag of masks there but nobody was handed them or required to wear them. But lo and behold after I had to be escorted back into the building for the rest of my stuff everybody has one.... idc that I lost my job for sticking up for my fellow workers. Hope it helped
Every last one of them in the fact that they might have them wear them and nobody gets sick. I work outside philly, it's a hotspot and my coworkers commute. We have a small baby and two elderly in our house. God forbid I brought something home so my company can do what they want.
And before you wonder or ask, I havent had healthcare for 8 out of the last 10 years.

This is abhorrent on the basest of levels. We ship cellphone accessories across the country. If one of my coworkers are asymptomatic there are thousands of peripheral infections with my company as a hot vector.
This is what matters to me at every point of the day. Shes about to be a year. Her safety is paramount even more so with what's going on.
I'm not gonna lie, I have a fairly checkered past. I have three years of rebuilding my life back after a long battle with heroin, a long list of misdemeanors and one felony.

None of that should have mattered in this but they made sure to send three cars when I called.
So I just got done with hr. They're gonna try and fight my unemployment targeting the convo as insubordination. I reminded her of current guidelines and proved that I have a long history of addressing this with my managers. We shall see what happens.
So this guy picked up on my story and gave me his email so I can file everything properly. Today was a good day.
This is what was written when I was told that they are gonna fight my unemployment. It is also the same story supported by their cameras in the warehouse. This week the osha and eeoc complaints will be filed!
This is what my job fired me over me bringing it up. The incident happened may 8th so that would mean my employer had been in violation for a month by then.
I figured I'd tell yall this now before you become an unfortunate side vector. The company I'm referring to is a major supplier for @boostmobile and all of boosts ONDIGO products have been running through two unprotected warehouses for the last month. Just a caution for you all!

My response to hr sending me my employer file. The added file was the mask declaration from earlier. I was told that their lawyers claimed full compliance, it's on tape btw, so I gently reminded them of what I was referring to when they terminated me.
She tried telling me the insubordination they're trying to push. My response and hers both attached
Basic is submitted. Whistleblower and eeoc to be filed after the week grace period I gave them to do something smart for themselves
Regular osha complaint is filed but he basically said on the phone he wont do anything about it and it's not their job to to enforce masks. Next step is whistleblower with osha. Ty @OSHA_DOL for your speedy response!
Hey @PAHealthDept you wanna give me a contact number or email since this could be endangering people's lives out here or you gonna wait while a company just says fuck you to our safety? I tried the police that day, got dismissed. Who is handling our safety @GovernorTomWolf ???
Oshas letter was sent to me as well for my records and called my company out on the general guidelines that they should have gear for us and are in violation of safety standards especially during a pandemic! They have a week to fix their conditions including equipment upgrades.
Whistleblower is filed!
Call with osha just ended now my complaint warrants moving up to the next step as well for both counts of workplace conditions and retaliation. Keep climbing!
