In the PH, sobrang underpaid ng maraming taga-teatro, be it the actors or the staff. Kung dito ka sa Pilipinas magteteatro, di ka yayaman. Kaya yung ibang mga taga-teatro ay nangingibang bansa para masustain ang passion nila. Sa isang kapitalistang lipunan, tinuturan (2/n)
Tayo that our passion is not enough to keep us afloat. Kaya kahit taliwas sa atin, kailangan nating gumawa ng mga desisyon para masustain ang sarili natin--be it thru moving to foreign lands to pursue our passion or pursuing other fields altogether.

While I firmly believe that theatre is for the masses and should serve the interest of the masses, hindi rin natin dapat ipressure ang mga productions na gawin itong libre kasi mahihirapan din ang mga tao sa likod nito. Hindi natin sila maprepressure na palaging gumawa ng (4/n)
Magandang produksyon because in this society, the talent you hire depends on the budget you have. Instead, let's put the burden on our government to invest in theatre and other arts. Invest on better infrastructure that is available to companies big and small (5/n)
Invest on training more talents, invest on helping budding artists and academicians on the field. Ensure all theatre peactitioners that the industry is sustainable--not only for those who practice is but also for those who consume it.

This is all still simplistic at this point.
But thru investing in theatre and other arts, we hone artists who will create art that serves the people and amplifies the demands of the masses.

For an accessible and sustainable Philippine theatre! For a Philippine theatre that serves the people!

Gawing norm ang hindi natin pagbabayad ng wasto sa ating mga talents. All of us in the industry deserve the credit and deserve proper compensation.

Mahal natin ang sining pero hindi ito dahilan para hindi tayo magdemand ng mas maayos ng sistema para sa lahat.
