A culture quite alien to me ... trying to highlight a consistent behaviour that seems to be embedded in Pakistani culture/ certain Islamic cultures... but I remain ignorant given lack of transparency!

Many of these commentators/ observers are muslims and/or from liberal traditions. They need support from wider society to fight off extremist Islam/ Wahhabism or even Islamism (aim of a political state that imposes & enforces Islamic laws & practices)
