Hiii! So I want to talk about weight loss for a second. I know this won’t appeal to everyone so I’m keeping it to this thread. I may also continue to add to this over thread over time.
So I’ve been trying to lose weight for a WHILE now. And by trying I mean I would eat really healthy for two days and then fall off. But I think I’ve finally found something that has worked for me so I want to share.
I’m going to start with diet. I eat HORRIBLY. I mean fast food once a day because it was just the easy way out. But recently I’ve found a very fast and easy way to eat without eating *as bad*.
I’ve found if I cut out fast food and junk food completely, I end up failing. So I’ve started eating a healthy breakfast, two eggs (sometimes 3 and I’ll just do whites) with some veggies like peppers and I’ll always drink a big glass of water with that.
Then for lunch I’ve been drinking a smoothie with a hand full of spinach, some frozen organic fruit, a little bit of Greek yogurt to make the smoothie a good consistency and then water. I also drink a glass of water with this.
Snacks I eat healthy too. I usually eat raw veggies (sometimes I’ll let myself eat them with just a little bit of southwest ranch) or I’ll do rice cakes with peanut butter. Then dinner is kind of a toss up.
Sometimes it’s healthy and sometimes it’s not. This may change over time and I’ll transition to eating all healthy meals but for right now this is what’s working and my body is definitely thanking me.
Now we will get into exercise. Another downfall for me with losing weight has always been the gym. I hate the gym. It’s intimidating and I don’t like have to drive somewhere I don’t even really want to be. So I decided to invest in some equipment.
I got a treadmill which has been really nice. I also got some resistance bands and a couple dumbbells. But what’s been the best for me is roller blading. It sounds lame but I’m having so much fun!
And again, my body is THRIVING. Like obviously I’m not seeing results when it comes to weight loss yet but I feel amazing. I’m waking up earlier, I feel a lot more energized and willing to get out of the house to do things. I’m so happy.

I did another good 20 minute high incline walk tonight!
