the way i haven't really read this book bc i've been reading post-tartarus angst fics instead of this book and they're 100 times better ....

the fact that we don't get percy or annabeth's pov so we don't get to see how tartarus affected them (bc did internally) and rick just bypassed that to make them seem kind of recovered so now percy just seems like overly funny and ooc when he could have been fully fleshed out

rick give leo more character development than him just wanting to do everything for a girl challenge like i don't mind calypso but his character arc would have been so much stronger if he was "the seventh wheel" but still was an important and gained confidence in himself

i HATE not getting a percy or annabeth pov bc only they know about percy's dark struggles and instead the rest of the seven see him as just this funny and stupid guy that happens to be powerful when in actuality he uses humor as a defense mechanism and is really smart

the way this thread is me just begging for a little percabeth pov as a treat sorry about it maybe that would actually make this book interesting
