So I built this cedar strip corset out of scraps from building my canoe and I'm out on the backyard taking pictures and my aunt just walks out and hands me this sword and is like "looked like you needed this"

OH WAIT. then she goes "oh you're doing a Mulan thing? Let me go get my katana.
She then proceeded to produce like 5 more swords

Aight while we're on heartwarming aunt pics (I spent summers living with my aunt and uncle and we'd go wilderness canoe camping in the Adirondacks in homebuilt canoes because they are the coolest.) Felt the need to recreate this pic the day of my canoe's maiden voyage
