serious question, what's the point of "making the violence more real" and "making the player feel bad for the enemies" unless the game uses it in service of incentivizing you to avoid violence altogether? do any of us think you'll be able to beat the game w/out killing?
if you aren't enabling us to choose to react to the "realness" of the violence by avoiding violence, avoiding traumatizing these digital actors you want us to empathize with, then what exactly are you doing, except inflicting vicarious trauma upon the audience for shock value?
