From what I can tell, the row of around ten terraced houses in Olivia Street - between Westminster Road #Kirkdale and Stanley Road #Bootle - were never rebuilt. Today rented garages stand in their place. Anyone know more? #WW2 #Sefton75 #Liverpool

Garfield Street #Bootle was one of the 'American streets' of tight terraced houses - two up, two downs - which were so badly damaged by #WW2 #Blitz they were razed to ground, and replaced by the Strand Shopping Centre in the late 1960s. #Sefton75
