As we come to the end of the Ancient Egypt and East Asia National Programme we are delighted to share the collections reviews with you. Thanks to funding from @HeritageFundSCO @HeritageFundUK we have worked with museums across Scotland to discover new and interesting stories about their ancient Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean collections, as well as share @NtlMuseumsScot collection #EgyptAsiaScotland
The touring exhibition Discovering Ancient Egypt travelled to @LiveBordersMGA @angusalive @EALeisure and @CPKMuseums. Thanks to funding from @artfund Weston Loan Programme two venues were able to purchase new display cases for the exhibition #EgyptAsiaScotland @HeritageFundSCO
With loans from @NtlMuseumsScot four partner museums developed new displays of East Asian collections #EgyptAsiaScotland @UoAmuseums @CPKMuseums @kbtgalleries @ONatDCLG @HeritageFundSCO
#EgyptAsiaScotland included a programme of training and skills development. We delivered 14 workshops, providing 99 learning experiences to 71 staff from 25 organisations across Scotland #MuseumTraining
