This is a product I’ve been very skeptical to discuss because I personally have found it very useful, but a lot of people add it to their routine without knowing exactly what it is and what it does.
Improper use of a product like this can cause burns on your face, it’s harsh enough that you shouldn’t even wash your face before you apply it because that can cause irritation and severe stinging.
This has a pretty high concentration of AHA (30%), so if you have sensitive, broken or inflamed skin this is not the product for you. It will sting the hell out of your face and could even burn you
I find the product really good after the initial first few uses, the stinging isn’t as bad as the first time. It leave my skin looking airbrushed but I very rarely use this, I prefer other methods of regular exfoliation.
This is one that you MUST conduct a patch test with before using it on your whole face because again - could cause actual chemical burns to your skin.
But the purpose of this solution is to exfoliate and “peel” the skin. It’s not like in the movies where a whole layer of your skin peels off at once and reveals a fresher, more radiant and very sore face. It’s actually gradual peeling that you’ll notice over a few days
It definitely works and it works well - but you have to be very very careful when using it. Avoid the eyes and lips (trust me on that one 😅) and don’t leave it on for longer than the instructed 10 minutes because again - your skin could burn off.
And of course with any acid and just in general WEAR SPF 30+ EVERY SINGLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!
