Bakudeku moments that prove that they have a good relationship and that they deeply care for each other

I felt like we needed some positivity right now

I personally haven't seen many people talk about this so I felt the need to mention it.
Deku not only feels blessed because he's able to pursue his dream and even got to meet and get close to his idol, but also because his relationship with Kacchan has gotten better.

Kacchan starting up the conversation and not minding sitting besides Deku ( which he has done multiple times before )

Kacchan / Bakugou showing concern and encouraging Deku in his own way

Kacchan casually approaching Deku to insert himself into his conversation with All Might because he doesn't want to be left out

" you have a good childhood friend"

Look at Deku's smile

I find this very funny so I needed to include it in here

Unlike before, Bakugou / Kacchan now knows for sure when Deku is giving him compliments, and he doesn't know how to deal with it

All Might really does love them and sees them as really close friends

When monoma accused Bakugou of bringing an end to the symbol of peace in front of Deku, he was so mad that he lost control.
After all Deku and All Might are the only ones who know about how bad Bakugou felt and how vulnerable he was.

Monoma told that to Deku because he knew that he'd get some sort of reaction out of him since he's Bakugou's friend

When the other students saw Bakugou protecting someone they all assumed that it was his first time doing so.
However, Deku is the only one (except for All Might) who has seen Kacchan protect someone else and that is himself, that happened during Deku and Kacchan VS All Might

This wasn't in the anime, but after Shigaraki appeared in the last episode of season 2, Kacchan was surprisingly calm and instead of insulting Deku as he usually does, he told him that he should've had killed the villains.
Not sure what this means but perhaps he was worried (??)

I may be looking too deep into it but the way I see it, at this point Bakugou still called Deku weak so why'd he assume that Deku would win if he had fought shigaraki ( even if he ended up being injured) so maybe he wanted Deku to use his power to defend himself instead ?

Bakugou / Kacchan encouraging Deku to get stronger and motivating him, again

He really cares about Deku and makes sure that he's making progress

We already know that to Deku, Kacchan represents VICTORY
So here's Deku acting like Kacchan because to him that's the only way he could win

In the ova, Class A had to fight a villain ( which turned out to be All Might)
When the others thought that Kacchan / Bakugou was acting stupid, Deku was the only one who knew his intentions

And in the end, Kacchan / Bakugou understood Deku's plan without even communicating with him and even went through with it which resulted in them winning.

Yep you're right, he really is

Let's not forget that the only person that Kacchan has actually opened up to about his feelings is Deku, he only allows himself to be vulnerable around Deku and that says A LOT about his character.
So yes, to me Deku is THE closest person/ friend to Bakugou and no one can deny it

I don't know whether you guys know or not, but Bnha has light novels. One of the chapters happens after Deku VS Kacchan 2 when they are alone in house arrest. The story is from Kouji's (kouda ) rabbit POV.
In brief, the rabbit escapes and Bakudeku have to catch him so they keep+

running after him, at first yuwai-chan ( the rabbit) dislikes Bakugou because of his character and is even scared of him.
After having failed to catch him, they come up with a plan and put a trap to attract him, that's how they finally got him

When the other students arrive, they started talking about how Bakudeku were probably fighting while chasing yuwai-chan, then yuwai-chan thought to himself " Those two don’t have as bad a relationship as everyone thinks."
He even says that Bakugou's hands were unexpectedly+g

In this light novel we got a bit of a flashback from bkdk's childhood where they did something similar to catch stray cats but unlike today, they always failed before.
" Mi-do-ri-ya gave a wistfully nostalgic smile. Ba-ku-gou merely muttered a short +

"Tch", but somehow he seemed to be lost in nostalgia as well. His back was to me so I couldn’t see his face, but with my animal sixth sense, I could just tell." Says Yuwai-chan.

You can't convince me that Kacchan doesn't care about Deku, especially when this happened

Deku, Kacchan and All Might

I had to remove Mineta from the picture and redraw some of the parts myself but hope it still turned out somehow good

In the 3rd opening of BNHA we see other students think of their struggles (?) And parts of themselves that they need to work on, except for Kacchan

Kacchan instead thinks of his past with Deku and everytime he has "saved" him
Which to me shows us that at this point, Kacchan still thought that Deku was looking down on him and still doesn't know how to deal with it, hence the reason why this is his main obstacle

"Datte atashi no hero" which translates to " Because you're my hero" is an ED written by LiSA which is meant to show Deku's POV and his honest feelings towards Kacchan.
So this song is basically like Deku singing to Kacchan what he actually thinks and feels about him

The song is very good! And the lyrics are so meaningful, you can listen to the whole song and read the translation if you want but I will be mentioning some of my favorite parts!
Don't forget that everything I'm mentioning is from Deku's POV

this is so precious I'm melting, do you guys think that someday we will get another song that's from Kacchan / Bakugou's POV?

This next part is so important and shouldn't be overlooked
"Our many tales of failure... versions of ourselves we couldn't love... if we can just embrace them, we'll be unstoppable!"
So basically, this means that they both aren't proud of who they once were and are trying to+

Improve so that they will be able to accept and love themselves and their current versions.
I may be wrong so you're welcome to correct me and give me your opinion on this part.
Anyways, the song end with " because, you're my hero"
So in the end, Kacchan is Deku's hero..

I tried my best not to include the whole song in this, it's so difficult cuz there are so many good parts, I recommend you listen to the whole song and read its lyrics if you haven't yet, it's really worth it!

Remember when All Might's sword got split into two, and now Bakudeku share it

Bakugou / Kacchan admitting why he bullied Deku, and saying that Deku doesn't take himself into account.

Kacchan and Deku will soon get the chance to talk about their feelings, which may lead to Bakugou apologizing for how he had treated him in the past

Bakugou / Kacchan is feeling remorseful and is helping Deku train because he's trying to atone

Bakugou is still worried about Deku and regrets everything he put him through when they were in middle school

Bakugou is ready to give his life if it means that Deku will be safe, this is definitely going to change their relationship and make them understand how much they mean for each other
