5/ the worst thing is, all the most prominent Brexiteers (barring the patsy Farage) are now in positions of power - Boris is PM, Gove and Rees Mogg have senior govt. roles, Cummings is at the heart of government, and Westminster is full of ex vote-leave staff who are now spads.
6/ all the Vote Leave promises are *their* promises and they are now LITERALLY the government - not some clique of irrelevant backbenchers.
7/ they said, repeatedly "There is a European free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border and we will be part of it."
8/ Brexit meant a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Some people wanted a LEXIT, others wanted a

9/ A handful of MPs, a small cabal of Tufton Street mini- Machiavelli's and their friends in the press have defined what Brexit is for a nation of millions of British people. They have decided that anything less than no deal is not Brexit.
10/ a grown up country would not stand for this. But sadly it seems we aren't one. A group of people small enough to fit in a single bus is now controlling all our fates and there is no way to stop it.
11/ even if video emerged of Cummings/Boris/Gove pre referendum saying clearly that they wanted a hard brexit all along or they didn't actually care about Brexit as long as they get to power, what would actually happen? Nothing.
12/ if undeniable proof emerged that foreign special interest groups were offering bribes to influence the course of Brexit, what would happen? Nothing.
13/ If people didn't want the option, that's fine. That's democracy.

14/ But VoteLeave won the Brexit ref on the back of soft Brexit supporters and subsequently used their media allies (e.g. the Borisgraph) to gaslight Brexit supporters into thinking no Brexit is what we all wanted all along. It WASN'T. /end
