Inch by slow inch. Even the creation process feels like larval entering pupal. 3 pages in 3 days!
One page at a time.
Okay, opening fiction done, with some minor world building.
About this game.
More prose, and creating a setting. Then maybe after a bit more of this, getting into the game's premise.
Cover page per section. First one, here we go.
Okay I should've gone to sleep but just needed to put this idea to (digital) paper.
Or, next section page; what this game is really about.
And simple mechanics.
And more mechanics.
Some extra worldbuilding...
A little more concept lore.
Have been told to rest my eyes. I super want to get back to writing and illustrating this game!
Really proud of this one; drawn one-eyed, took a bit longer, but turned out well. Gives me confidence. :)
More lore, and a note on the theme of the game: reclaiming agency. If you're going to play a game where agency was lost, I think gaming tables should contemplate an agenda for hope.
Note: I realise that with each page I share and collate in this thread, it would be easier for someone to get gather the images and make their own copy of the game as it finishes in real time. That's fine with me. I think of this process as a community copy in development.
