My attention has been drawn to the fact that our Chelsea leader Drogba lost FA elections in his country.

He didn't even get one vote.

Those guys no just send my leader at all but I will always celebrate him for inspiring me to defect to CHELSEA.

Drogba is my beloved Leader

Today, I'm going to do a VAR thread on my Football fan life

And the untold story of how I became a loyal Chelsea fan.

Unknown to many,

I was not a fan of EPL or foreign leagues until Mourinho/Drogba's assumption of office in Chelsea

I recall back then I would rather watch NTA news than a live Champions league game and this really irked my brothers who are die hard Arsenal fans.

Those days when I see guys engage in heated argument and lengthy debates over European club football

I just ask them "Wetin be una gain for all the noise?"

I was totally anti EPL or any foreign league and didn't understand why people should worry over clubs in distant shores

I started developing a passive interest in European leagues around 05/06 season

The first champions league final I watched was Arsenal vs Barcelona

I followed the hot "Presidential debates" that ensued between supporters of both clubs on campus ahead of the final

Some friends who are Arsenal fans told me that the final will be played in France.

That Wenger is from France and will have massive home support. So I was curious to watch the match that day

Eventually, Wenger lost in his own stronghold constituency - France

After 2006 World cup,

I officially announced my decision to join Chelsea amidst protests by opposition Arsenal siblings and friends

My decision was largely influenced by Mourinho's progressive reforms, Drogba's tenacious drive to boost Goal IGR and support for young Mikel.

My first official assignment as a Chelsea fan was in 2007

Man U vs Chelsea FA CUP FINAL

I watched the match at a viewing centre and kept assuring fellow Chelsea fans that Drogba will deliver his polling unit.

And he did, we won

So from EPL apathy pre 2006,

I have now become a football enthusiast and happy Chelsea Statesman.

I have been living and enjoying my Football life to the Maximum. #YourLifeMaxAm

Since I joined our great club Chelsea,

We've won many FA Cups

EPL league titles

Europa League Champions

Champions League

I'm so happy to be here

It our club
Its our football
Its our life

And we have to live it to the maximum #YourLifeMaxAm #PepsiMax
