If he/she loses a loved one, a disciple of Christ should...
The correct option was D.

Why? Because there& #39;s obviously some controversy when it comes to the other options.

Yes, that last statement sounds very unlike God but it is the reality. Not everyone will come back to life no matter how much faith we muster in prayer.
(1) As spiritual and amazing as option A is, it is flawed in that the power to resurrect, although inherent in us believers, may not always manifest because of the Sovereignty of God. What if He doesn& #39;t want the person to come back to life?
(2) Option B seems like the most humane thing to do as our family members are vulnerable and in need of comfort in such times yet we may be required of elsewhere in God& #39;s agenda. That brings us to the final option...
(3) Option C. The Great Commission says, "Go ye into all the earth and make disciples of every nation..."
This seems insensitive a response in such times but it& #39;s also a possibility. Many preachers in the past have been castigated because of this...
(3b) Of course, we are not endorsing any imbalance on their part but highlighting that this also can be a possibility as long as that is what God will have us do at the time.
(4) BOTTOM LINE: Seek to know the will of God concerning every matter per time and season. Because it was done a certain way the first time and it worked, doesn& #39;t mean it should be repeated in the next similar situation [Ref: 2 Samuel 5:17-25] Ask Him ALWAYS
Till next time.
