Body finished, sleeves begun. This is bottom-up so we'll finish with the yoke once the sleeves are done.

Tentacle project is not the only knitting I've been doing this month.
This is a Smaychel sized sweater in a dusky pink wool that is several decades old. I used a plain, vintage pattern to match it - slightly oversized and slouchy. It is blocking before being sewn up.

Knitting is how I cope with anxiety, so here is another jumper! Modeled by its recipient (and the coolest human I know).

Pattern is called Enchanted Garden, modeled by Audrey but knit for her friend's birthday tomorrow.

It's the little details that make this so lovely to knit. The way the bands of pattern line up so perfectly between the body and the sleeves. The way the intarsia flowers at the top repeat on the back and the sleeve caps. All the different shades of blue. The rolled edges.
Mitten poll!
Should I do the second mitten in the same colourway (blue on green) or inverse (green on blue)?
