Even though I'm anti-censorship of fiction there's actually a lot of stuff I'm not comfortable with reading/watching... But that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. It just means I'm gonna stay away from it.
Like I'm that bitch that gets really upset whenever a cat dies in something. Does that mean I think cat death shouldn't be portrayed? No. It just means I'm gonna not read things about pets just in case they involve death
MY POINT IS it doesn't even have to be sexual. ANYTHING can make people uncomfortable.

Also I still judge the shit out of what kinds of fiction people like because even if I'm okay with it existing I can still go "A'ight" at you lol (It's okay, I do it to myself)
Anyway people also need to realise that not all fiction is for them. Something makes you uncomfortable? That’s valid. But you should just... leave it and go and consume something else. It’s not healthy to hateread things (Trust me, I know). Respect your limits.
I’ve said this before, but I’ll never ever judge people for the kinds of content they’re not comfortable with. Everyone has different limits, triggers and such. My issue is with people who act like their limits are/should be everyone’s limits and shame people for their tastes.
Knowing your own limits is important. Knowing others’ limits are not the same as yours and that that’s perfectly fine is equally as important.

Everyone’s been through different experiences and they’re not going to match up 100% with yours. And you shouldn’t try to make them.
