Maybe we need another sports to watch in this quarantine, because its so boring, working from home for weeks. So I'll explain sports that you could watch easily everywhere.

Football

Not this ⚽
But this 🏈

So let's start it shall we?
1. Football or I will refer it to Gridiron Football (just simply Gridiron) is a sport consisting of 11 active players from both teams. Unlike soccer, gridiron players are specialized at their position and formation.
2. The formation are called: Offense, Defense, and Specials. And the players that play at the formation are rarely the same from offense and defense (except for special teams).
3. The full roster of gridiron american football are consisted of 53 players in main roster and accumulated 73 players from training squad. They usually playing in strings (hierarchy). So they will mainly play the 1st string for 90% of the game, 2nd string and 3rd string follows.
4. These strings are vary to every team's depth chart. Some teams got 4 string of main QB, some only 1 string of main QB and so on.
5. Speaking of QB, we will talk about offense. But first, see this offensive chart first:
Its called the singleback formation. As you can see, there are only 1 player behind the QB
The role of the QB are mainly as the General in military perspective. He leads the formation by order the OL's, RB, and Wideouts.

The OL's that consists of Centre, Guard, Tackle, and Tight End are in charge to protect the QB from the opposing players.
One member of the OL, Tight End aren't a "single role" player just like the other players. TE also considered as an "eligible receiver". I will explain this later on this thread. But, it means that a TE are able (by rulebook) to catch the pass without an obstruction.....
.....What considered as an obstruction are a deflected forward pass and backward/forward fumble.
RB or Running Back are considered similiar by some fans and journalist with the Half Back. But I don't think so. Because the RB are only the "role" of the HB, the role is to rush the ball. But in other formation, HB able to catch the ball too.
FB or Full Back is a "weird siblings" that always protects you when older kids bully you. The role is to protect the RB/HB when moving and rushing the ball. Mostly, FB are bigger and slower than the RB.
Wideouts are a set of role consist of Wide Receiver, Tight End, and Half Back. Their role is to catch the ball. They are called as an eligible receiver. But what is an eligible receiver?
Eligible Receivers are consist of 6 players behind the scrimmage line that able to catch the pass. The other player are considered as "ineligible" receivers. Surely, the eligible-ineligible aren't applicable if there already a "forward pass" or deflection or a fumble.
