Book 8- Rescued From The Reich by @BryanMarkRigg1.

Unbelievable story. Somehow, even after going through a full Chabad education, I never knew that the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe was in poland during the Nazi invasion. Let alone the details of his rescue. https://twitter.com/bentzysu/status/1256032899171790848
The details of this story, based on numerous interviews with eye-witnesses and documents of all sorts, are better than any spy/suspense thriller. As far as I know this is the only book with the story told in full. >
As such, I wonder if there are know innacuracies in this book. ( @Mottel @dovidmargolin @shabboshouse @querynotfound ?).
Alright, so to clarify: I did not mean that I didn’t (& your average Lubavitcher doesn’t) know that the PR was in Poland during WW2. I did know that. What I didn’t know was that he was there during the extremely intense and horrific few weeks of the Nazi *invasion*. >
< I also didn’t know that he was saved (+ fam and more) by a group of high-ranking nazi officers. Again, it’s a mind-boggling story, which for some reason too many don’t know about. Anyhow, glad said misunderstanding led to this beautiful 24hr-long conversation in the replies. 💪🏼
