my favorite chinese takeout restaurant just reopened and i have decided to order on Friday as an end of week treat and i truly cannot wait. yes, these are the weekend plans i look forward to now.

& they are closed. #fail

after much deliberation, i decided NOT to substitute my favorite restaurant with a sub-par option but rather, hold out for when they do re-open. i’ve waited this long and my food will be even better come time. i’m staying loyal Feng’s Garden! appreciate all of your support.

Update: I have accepted that Feng’s Garden is not opening any time soon and so it is only fair I support a currently open, local business. With that said, tonight I will order my usual combo from King Wok and I must admit, I am looking forward to it! Until next time Feng’s.

It is with great disappointment that I report King Wok is not as good as Feng’s. This was my fear all along BUT, I have a confirmation from Feng’s that they will open in two weeks! STAY TUNED people! ...

I do feel it is important to note that by confirmation I am referring to a series of gestures in which I stood at the restaurant window shrugging inquisitively and the woman held up two fingers and then motioned two small hills with her index finger to the right.

UPDATE: I could not be happier to share that Feng’s Garden is now OPEN! While I clearly misinterpreted our exchange of gestures last week, none of that matters now. My order has been placed and this thread is officially closed. Thank you all!
