How did they do it?

The fundamentals were solid. The tested aggressively. This shows in the rate of test positives: only 3%

This was combined with outstanding contact tracing.

A third factor that played a bid role is that interstate travel is restricted in India in the lockdown.

As a result, Kerala was able to completely concentrate on cases within the state. Excellent governance played a big part. As well as they also focused on hot spots.

Basic infection epidemiology 101 carried out as it should be.

It is a remarkable feat. And sets an example
